Deaf-Blind
Deaf-Blind is a term used to describe any individual that has some degree of loss in both hearing and vision. According to the National Consortium on Deaf-Blindness approximately 45,000 individuals in the U.S. are deaf-blind. As a result, these individuals will struggle with communication and learning opportunities.
