Asthma
Asthma is a respiratory disease which affects the bronchial tubes in the lungs. Individuals with asthma tend to be sensitive to the following:
There are two common types:
Intrinsic (non-allergenic)
- Caused by emotional stress, infections, exercise, cold air, and food allergies
Extrinsic (allergenic)
- Pollution, grass, pollen, changes in seasons - cause the immune system to over-react
